I first found NACD when my 3-year-old son was diagnosed with autism back in 2000. After starting program with my son and seeing him hit important milestones so quickly, I became a huge advocate for NACD’s approach and therapies. At the time I thought “wouldn’t it be great to work for NACD someday?” Fast forward 20 years and I am thrilled to be part of the NACD family assisting other families who are currently working on programs with their loved ones.

I implemented program with my son from 2000-2015 but somehow managed to finish my B.S. in Public Management in 2012 from Northern Arizona University. I have one married daughter (also a former NACD member) and she has given us 2 beautiful grandbabies to adore and spoil. My son, now 23 years old, still lives with his dad and I but is an independent young man who works part time and has achieved his black belt in karate. We all live here in central Arizona and plan to stay where it is warm!!!
