Olmstead Family

We are the Olmsteads, a military family, currently living in VA with our three children: Verity (12); John (9); and Giselle (6). We enjoy spending time together, developing and growing in our potential as well as building community with others on a similar path. In 2020, we withdrew from public education and began homeschooling. By the summer of 2023, with concerns mounting and morale flagging, I grasped a lifeline when a friend mentioned NACD.

Things started to change quickly and dramatically once I connected with an NACD evaluator. Within days of implementing our customized program, we were smiling our way through school activities, in months, we were achieving our academic goals, and by the first year, we had far surpassed expectations! With the support of our NACD team, we have traded our tears for enthusiasm, the days flow more productively, and our family has found a place to thrive. The future is bright!
