Abaza Family

We are the Abazas from Cairo, Egypt. We joined NACD when our daughter Lara (who is diagnosed with Williams Syndrome) was just 1.5 years old and it changed our lives. At a time when we understood very little about Lara’s condition and what we can do to help her thrive, NACD provided us with an enormous amount of information and support that had a tramensous impact on our lives. Fast forward three years our daughter is now in school, a friendly, happy and enthusiastic student and we owe it to our program. We are a family that enjoys travel, music and a lot of time outdoors in the sun, we spend our time between Egypt and UAE, and we would love to tell our story and connect with more families on similar journeys.
