Lidia Tatarasanu
Lidia’s journey with the National Association for Child Development began first as a mother, searching for something that would truly help her daughter reach her full potential. Experiencing firsthand the effectiveness of NACD’s approach was life-changing and inspired her to become a coach so she could help other families experience the same hope, progress, and transformation.
Before joining NACD, Lidia built a diverse professional career with experience spanning sales and procurement, office management as well as exhibition coordination. She worked with organizations in the non-ferrous metals industry, including a copper smelter and an open-pit copper mine, as well as in road construction and real estate. These roles required her to manage administrative operations, support commercial activities, and serve as a bridge between teams, suppliers, and clients. Through this work, she developed strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with people from many different professional and educational backgrounds.
Lidia was born and educated in Brăila, Romania, a historic city on the banks of the Danube River. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts Education from the University of Bucharest in 1997. Her academic experience helped shape her curiosity, adaptability, and lifelong love of learning, as well as her ability to think critically and connect with others.
Having a rather warm communication style, whether on the phone, in writing, or in person, Lidia brings both professional experience and personal understanding to her work. As an NACD coach, she is deeply committed to supporting families, sharing knowledge, and helping children build strong developmental foundations. Her work is not just a profession, but a mission shaped by her own journey as a parent.
